It all started when David was visiting his family in Chile during the fall of 2006.
While everyone was busy working during the day, David decided to “kill some time” taking painting classes in the bohemian neighborhood of “Lastarrias” in downtown Santiago. Under the guidance of Artist German del Solar, David realized that a potential talent was hiding in him and a new hobby and renewed passion for the arts was born.
Upon his return to Toronto, his home at the time, he joined the painting school at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In 2008, when he moved to New York, David kept exploring different techniques and artistic expressions through the Education Alliance and the school of the Museum of Modern Art.
